DISCLOSURE and CONFLICT of INTEREST

-All sources of financial support should be disclosed. All authors ought to disclose a meaningful conflict of interest in the process of forming their study.  The ICMJE Potential Conflict of Interest Disclosure Form should be filled in and submitted by all contributing authors to disclose a potential conflict of interest. The journal’s Editorial Board determines cases of a potential conflict of interest of the editors, authors, or reviewers within the scope of COPE and ICMJE guidelines.

-A conflict of interest arises when conditions enable financial or personal gain. The objective consideration of conflicts of interest during the planning, implementation, writing, evaluation, editing, and publication of scientific investigations is directly related to the reliability of the scientific process and the published publications. Financial relationships are the most easily identifiable conflicts of interest, and they will invariably impair the journal's, authors', and science's credibility. Individual relationships, academic competition, and intellectual orientations can all contribute to these tensions. The writers should avoid signing agreements with sponsors in the hopes of receiving compensation or any other benefit that limits their capacity to access all study data or analyze, interpret, prepare, and publish their articles as much as feasible. To avoid conflicts of interest, editors should avoid bringing together people who may have a relationship with each other during the study evaluation process. Editors who make final decisions about articles should not have any personal interests.

-If one of the editors is an author in any manuscript, the editor is excluded from the manuscript evaluation process. In order to prevent any conflict of interest, the article evaluation process is carried out as double-blinded. Because of the double-blinded evaluation process, except for the Editor-in-Chief, none of the editorial board members, international advisory board members, or reviewers is informed about the authors of the manuscript or institutions of the authors.

Manuscripts should be uploaded to the system as separate files in the following order (Tables and Figures should be included in the main document).

  1. Plagiarism report
  2. Cover Letter
  3. Title page
  4. Main Document
  5. The ICMJE Potential Conflict of Interest Disclosure Form
